AMA — Alternative Moods of Arising
A story that came out from a desire to change the world, in their own way and, maybe, also in your own way … who knows!
NO, they did not want to write a book. They did not want to create a project. They did not want to make something unreal. They did not want to impression.
Yes, they ended up to create a choice. They ended up to create a magical idea. They ended up to put together hearth and mind. They ended up to create something which is unbelievable simple.
They justchose a destination, they defined some rules (because the word simplicity is in their vocabularies of life since they were born) they departed, they walked simultaneously but divided. But, most of all, they thought and … they wrote.
This is the real story of two young people, close to their thirties. They wanted to create something unique in order to let people discover the beauty that our world if full of. They decided to accomplish this goal by following one of their biggest passions: traveling. This time they will not go too far: loyal to their homeland (which is Italy), they wanted to make a 4-days trip to the breathtaking island of Sardinia.
They defined some points of interests they both had to see along the path. They started the journey from the same place, where it also ended. They made their journey separated. They could carry with them a diary, a backpack, adrenalin, lots of curiosity and lots of love for life.
They defined some possibilities they might have wanted to respect along the way, to make the travel unique and based on essential things:
- They decided to not talk to each other, from the beginning till the end of the trip. The only communication allowed was with local people of the villages they were going to see. They wanted to rediscover the pleasure of meeting and communicate with people.
- Mobile phones could not be used. In fact, communication can happen in lots of ways.
- They decided to dedicated a song to each other. Something they have listened to during the their own paths. They shared their rhythms of life.
- They could only take three pictures in the whole journey. They wanted to underline importance of feeling in the human nature.
- They could buy only one gift. Not to carry with them but to give away to someone who has been in their life. This in order to underline the importance of giving.

The aim of this piece of art (or call it as you prefer) is to underline the value of the viewpoints.
The authors wanted to research their viewpoint on the travel experience, sharing it betweeb them, exchanging it to aim for an emotional and sapiential growth.
The title of this literature wants also to allude to this reciprocity: AMA (Alternative Moods of Arising) is a palindrome acrostic that encompasses the mystery and interchangeability of every experience that life offers to every human being, regardless of his conditions.
From the authors’ diaries comes this volume. Its outcome will be used for the visited places (in this case Sardinia), to do something beautiful and enhance the beautiful world we live in!
They are always eager to share our viewpoints. They want to make their travels, closer or farer, the ones of everyday life or just the vactional ones, transformative experiences which can bring people a smile or positive thoughts in order to help them living their daily routines. And they will go further!
